A few basics about what FurEver Light is, who it is for, and how the experience works.
What exactly is FurEver Light?
Furever Light is a guided pet-fur keepsake made with a small amount of your pet’s real fur. You shape the fur into a heart with your own hands, then place it inside a personalized, softly illuminated frame.
Do I need felting or art experience?
No. Furever Light is designed for beginners, and no prior felting or art experience is needed. Gentle step-by-step guidance is included. The goal is not perfection—it is the experience of making something meaningful with your own hands.
We’ll also show you how to make your FurEver Light step by step. Simply follow the included tutorial, and you’ll be able to complete your keepsake with ease.
Is FurEver Light only for pets who have passed away?
Not at all. You can create a FurEver Light for a companion who is still beside you today, or for one you continue to carry in your heart.
What kinds of pets can FurEver Light be made for?
FurEver Light is not limited to cats or dogs. If you have a small amount of fur from a beloved companion, the keepsake may be suitable for many different kinds of pets.
Is every FurEver Light handmade?
The heart inside your Furever Light is shaped by you, using your pet’s fur and the materials we prepare for you. We personalize and carefully prepare the rest of your Furever Light, then provide gentle guidance so you can complete the keepsake with your own hands.
How is Furever Light different from a wool felting kit?
Unlike a standard wool felting kit, Furever Light is designed around your own pet’s real fur and the bond attached to it. You keep the fur safely with you, shape a small amount into a heart with gentle step-by-step guidance, and preserve it inside a personalized, softly illuminated frame.

What to know about your pet’s fur, the materials we provide, and creating your FurEver Light at home.
How much fur do I need?
A small amount is enough. We recommend a bundle of fur approximately 1.2 inches in diameter as a helpful reference.
If you have less fur available, a small amount of matching-color wool can be added as a soft background layer.
What kinds of fur work best?
Clean, dry pet fur can be used. Longer fur that can naturally gather into a small bundle usually works best for shaping the heart.
Shorter fur can also be used. A small amount of matching-color wool may be added as a background layer to help create the desired shape.
What if I only have a very small amount of fur?
That is absolutely okay. Even a small amount of your pet’s fur can become a meaningful part of your keepsake.
Matching-color wool can be used as a soft background layer, so you can choose how much of your pet’s fur you feel comfortable using.
Do I need to send my pet’s fur to you?
No. Your pet’s fur stays with you throughout the entire experience. There is no need to mail it to us, so this irreplaceable part of your companion never has to leave your care.
What if my finished heart doesn’t look perfect?
It does not need to. Every pet’s fur is different, and every person shapes the heart a little differently. Small variations are part of what makes your keepsake yours.
Can I make more than one keepsake for the same pet?
Yes. If you have enough saved fur, you may create more than one FurEver Light — for yourself, another family member, or different memories you would like to preserve.
What comes with my FurEver Light?
Your Furever Light includes the base wool fibers used to shape the heart, a softly illuminated solid-wood frame, a personalized nameplate option, carefully prepared felting tools and materials, and gentle step-by-step guidance.
How should I keep my pet’s fur before I’m ready to use it?
Keep the fur clean and completely dry, and store it in a clean, dry container or bag until you are ready to create your keepsake.
Can I use fur from more than one pet?
Yes. If it feels meaningful to you, fur from more than one companion can be incorporated into the same keepsake.
You can decide how you would like to combine their fur with the base wool fibers as you create the heart.

Can I personalize the nameplate?
Yes. A personalized nameplate option is available so your companion’s name can become part of the keepsake.
Can I change my personalization after placing an order?
If you need to make a change, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.
Once your order has entered preparation or personalization, changes may no longer be possible.
How long does it take to prepare my order?
Most personalized Furever Light orders are carefully prepared within 5 business days.
Once your order begins its journey to you, available shipping and tracking information will be provided.
Where do you currently ship?
Standard online ordering is currently available for supported destinations in North America.
Some remote or less commonly served addresses may not show an available shipping option at checkout. If your address cannot be accepted during checkout, please contact us before ordering and we will check whether delivery can be arranged.
Do you ship to Europe?
European delivery is not currently available through our standard online checkout.
If you would like to order from Europe, please contact us before placing your order. We will check available shipping options for your destination and confirm whether delivery is possible, together with the estimated shipping cost and delivery time.
How long does delivery take?
For supported North American destinations, Furever Light typically arrives around 15–25 days after your order is confirmed.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs processing, and local carriers. Remote addresses may require additional confirmation before ordering.
For European orders, delivery availability and estimated delivery time will be confirmed individually after we review the shipping options for your location.
How can I track my order?
When tracking is available for your shipment, the tracking information will be provided after your order has been dispatched.
What if my package arrives damaged or something is missing?
Please contact us as soon as possible at services@furevercustom.com with your order number and photos of the package and affected items.
We’ll review the issue and help you with the next step.

Can I return or refund my order?
Return and refund eligibility depends on the order and the reason for the request, particularly for personalized items.

Does every purchase support animal rescue?
Yes. US$10 from every Furever Light order is donated to Animal World Foundation to support animals in need.
Your keepsake holds a piece of the bond you share with your own companion, while also helping another animal receive care and support.
